Overview International Application and Admission
1 International applicants are foreign students who hold the nationality of a country other than Turkey.
2 Turkish students who meet the specific requirements as announced by YÖK ÖSYM- Council of Higher Education in Turkey relevant to the academic year of admissions. For details please refer to the websites in Turkish: www.osym.gov.tr and www.yok.gov.tr
3 Each undergraduate and graduate program offered at Yeditepe University has a limited quota for international admissions as set by YÖK ÖSYM, Council of Higher Education in Turkey. Refer to the Turkish websites for up-to-date details: www.osym.gov.tr and www.yok.gov.tr
4 Review and evaluation of applications and the placement of the candidates is executed by the Faculty and Department senior officers and approved by the administration. Meeting the application criteria does not guarantee admission to the programs.
Overview Registration
- Registration takes place only on the Main Campus and during the dates as announced on the academic calendar.
- New applicants or first-year (freshman) students enrolling for the first time may only register at the beginning of the academic year Fall Term.
- Graduate students generally register for the first time at the beginning of Fall Term.
- Transfer students may register at the beginning of Fall Term.
- Students who have been accepted to a course program submit all required documents in person during the period of registration.
- Tuition payments for students entering through international admissions are based on the faculty/school of study and made at the time of registration.
- Foreign currency bank account numbers are available for payments in Euro € or USD $ . Please check that the account number is correct before making payments.
- All students who are registering for the first time and as full-time students in an undergraduate program will be required to sign up for taking the English Proficiency Test after having officially registered -- unless an acceptable English exam score is presented at the time of registration.
- International Students who have received letters of acceptance and are registering for the first time and as full-time students in an undergraduate program will receive a welcome packet with important information.
- Documents should be attested copies; photocopies without original stamp and signature or documents sent by fax or email are not acceptable for registration.
- All documents should be either in English or Turkish or offical authorized translations in one of these languages.
- All submissions that are found to be incomplete at the time of registration will not be accepted.
