Incoming Students | Yeditepe University Office of International Exchange and Cooperation

To study at our university as an exchange student, you must be nominated by one of our partner universities.
Nominated students submit their applications through the KION system. (https://exchangeprogram.yeditepe.edu.tr/) (Please click here for an explanatory video.)
Prospective students must have the Learning Agreement—which is included in their application documents—signed by the Erasmus Academic Unit coordinator at our university and then upload it to the system.

Applications that meet the announced requirements and conditions are processed by the Office, which then sends acceptance letters to the relevant students.
Only students who have submitted their applications on time and requested accommodation in university dormitories on the application form will be given priority in dorm room assignments. If there is insufficient space in the dormitories, priority will be given to students who applied earlier. (First come, first served)
For students who apply after the deadline, room assignments will be made based on dormitory availability.

The Office organizes an Orientation Program for incoming students with the support of the Erasmus Club (ESN Yeditepe). It provides information about the relevant departments, institutions, and organizations regarding internal and other processes.

Erasmus Academic Unit Coordinators provide academic advising to students throughout their exchange periods.
While students are generally expected to select courses from the department to which they have been assigned, they may also take courses from other academic units with the approval of their sending institution. They must earn at least 50% of their total credits from the department to which they have been assigned. (For the course list, click here.)
The office regularly sends emails to students during exchange periods to keep them informed about all aspects of the process.
Students must fill out the arrival declaration form regarding their arrival in Turkey and at Yeditepe University and email it to [email protected].

The Office provides students with the necessary instructions for completing check-out procedures at the Information Center and at dormitories such as İSTEK AŞ.
Students who complete the departure process by signing the “Departure Form”—which is available on the Office’s website—will receive a Transcript and a Certificate of Attendance.
