Students can study for one or two terms (minimum 2 months and maximum 12 months) at the universities with which their departments have Erasmus bilateral agreements.

Students can do internships for a minimum of two and a maximum of twelve months in order to gain professional experience in a business, a research institute, a laboratory, an organization or other relevant workplace in the program countries.
Internships can be compulsory or voluntary.
Within the scope of Erasmus student mobility activities, Additional Grant Support is provided to participants with fewer opportunities, in addition to the grant to which they are already entitled. Participants with fewer opportunities are defined in the relevant Programme Guide of the National Agency for the corresponding project year and announced in the calls for applications.
Students who fall within this scope are granted Additional Grant Support in the amounts specified below, depending on the type of mobility, provided that they document their status at the application stage:
| Type of Mobility | Amount of Additional Grant Support |
|---|---|
| Student mobility of 2–12 months | €250 per month |
| Short-term student mobility of 5–14 days* | €100 in addition to the total daily grant |
| Short-term student mobility of 15–30 days* | €150 in addition to the total daily grant |
* In this case, no additional support is provided for traineeships.
A participant with fewer opportunities is a potential participant whose physical, mental, or health condition would prevent them from taking part in the project/mobility activity without additional financial support.
Before the start of the activity, the selected participant must inform the Office of their need for additional grant support via e-mail (outgoing@yeditepe.edu.tr).
The Office submits the request to the National Agency for approval, together with the relevant application form and supporting documents.
In the application forms, the reason for the need for Inclusion Support must be clearly explained, and supporting documents must be attached (e.g. a medical report indicating the type and level of disability issued within the last three months, a copy of a disability card, or a medical report for chronic illnesses). The application must also include documents confirming that the host higher education institution is aware that the incoming student/staff member requires Inclusion Support and that it undertakes to provide the necessary facilities and arrangements.
The requested amount of additional grant and the justification for the request must be detailed in the form as required. The requested grant must be directly related to enabling the participant with Inclusion Support to take part in the mobility activity.
